FAQ
This page will guide you through basic functionalities of BeeRent.
The connection between BeeRent and sales channels
BeeRent is completely connected to sales channels.
That means you create and manage your property within BeeRent and the system takes care of sales channels you choose to be connected with.
Your every update of the property (e.g. description, prices, availability) is automatically pushed to sales channels and when you receive a reservation from any connected sales channels, your property will be automatically closed for sale on other sales channels.
Can I use BeeRent if I already have a Booking.com account?
The answer to that question is yes of course!
It is as simple as adding your property to BeeRent and connect it to our channel manager within your Booking.com extranet.
From that moment on, you will manage everything from BeeRent.
Can I change my current channel manager to BeeRent?
Yes! Switching from another channel manager to BeeRent is fast and easy.
How can I add a price list for specific sales channel in the Prices section?
After you have registered an accommodation unit, and wish to open the calendar and enter the prices for a specific sales channel, you need to go to the Channels section first and click on the “Disconnected” button on the desired channel. Click on the “Properties” page and choose the accommodation unit in which you wish to enter the prices. In the “Prices” section of that accommodation unit, on the left side, under the “Standard” prices, a price list has opened for the channel you connected.
NOTE: When in the “Channels” section you change the status of a specific sales channel to “Connected”, it does not mean that your BeeRent account is automatically connected to this sales Channel.
More about how to connect your BeeRent account to a specific sales channel, read here.
I received an overbooking – I received a reservation on a sales channel, but it is not visible in BeeRent, why?
Please review the Main and Extra capacity, as well as the Rate plans you entered in BeeRent and in the sales channel, the information must be the same in both platforms. To view the overbooked reservations in BeeRent, on the “Reservations” page in the “Filters” window select “Overbooked reservations“.
I am connected to the Booking.com channel, but my accommodation units are not visible on the channel, why?
Please review if you have opened the calendar (set to the option available) for a minimum of 30 days and if you have entered the prices for a minimum of 30 days.
